3 ways physical activity and exercise helps you sleep
Let’s admit it after your admired teenage years you can’t remember having a full 8 hours of restful refreshing sleep.
Sleep is important as it Repairs, replenishes and restores our mind and Body.. Remember?
FOR SLEEP, RICHES AND HEALTH TO BE TRULY ENJOYED, THEY MUST BE INTERRUPTED.

Our lives have become so busy, so packed with schedules, appointments and commitments. When do you make your health a priority?
Sometimes I wonder if there is any way to make more hours in the day. An extra few hours of rest, a few more hours to get that sweet memory of sleep.
We need to remember that physical activity and exercise are similar. Being active helps repair, replenish and helps you take a moment to yourself to restore just like sleep.
Here are a few ways to get the best of both worlds,
Quality of sleep
Think DEEP! Physical activity increases your time in deep sleep. Studies show deep sleep helps to boost immune function, support cardiac health, and control stress and anxiety. This is considered your most restorative sleep phase.
Improve time asleep
The healthiest adults need an average of 7-9 hrs of sleep. Yes, 7- 9 hrs of sleep!! Don’t worry, I’m thinking the same thing… HOW?
Some people may feel more tired with increasing their physical activity, but this helps you be more at rest at the end of the day.
Stress is a common cause for having sleep problems. As we all know exercise is one of the most effective ways to smooth out your day.
Have you ever been at work with the slightest amount of patience left, so you grab that stress ball and squeeze it a few times and you start feeling better? SEE exercise.
JUST 5 minutes of exercise can trigger anti-anxiety response…5 MINUTES! YOU don’t have 5minutes.. well that my friend is another conversation for another blog.
The benefits are over time rather then immediately. So join the gym, a walking or running club, or an adult sports team, so you can sleep like the teenager you are, deep..deep..deep down!!
So, there you have it take as little as 5 minutes for yourself get active and get your ZZz’s!
